Located in the heart of Cedarbrae, Swigs Pub & Grill is a local family-owned and managed neighborhood pub. There is some history to the pub; open since 1980 Swigs was Calgary’s very first neighborhood pub! Originally opening under the name Ye Olde Manor, after a petition was overruled against opening, the establishment became a part of the community. Before becoming Swigs Pub & Grill, the pub had changed owners and names multiple times. The family took over from the previous owner in November 2008 after being both regular customers and longtime employees. Swigs takes pride in having a friendly and open attitude with their customers. With a large regular customer base, they have the “Cheers” mentality - “Where everyone knows your name”. They have a welcoming staff that provide great service, smiles and love to see and meet new faces.
Local artists host our events and guide you through your painting. Every host has his or her own personality so your Paint Nite will be different with each new artist you choose. Our artists are so glad they get to do what they love and share their painting tips with you (so be sure to also share tips with them). Wondering more about your host? Just ask at the event! These Paint Nite people love to get to know you.
