Delta Lion Pub

Welcome to The Delta Lion Pub! When you’re in Delta looking to mix a little wine and painting together, check out Delta Lion Pub. Delta Lion Pub is one of the best neighborhood pubs in Delta. It's been called "The DLP" by our longtime friends. Since 1977, we've been serving our community and getting to know our neigbours over great food and a few drinks. Here, we celebrate our past and cheers to our present because no matter where you came from, we're glad you're here now. If you’re looking for a girls night idea, a Paint Nite event at The DLP should certainly make it on your bucket list of things to do in Vancouver. The menu for The Delta Lion Pub includes favorites such as burgers, crispy dry ribs, and hot wings. The drink/cocktail menu includes a wide variety of choices, which often ranks Delta Lion Pub as one of the top 10 best local pubs in Delta. Come early or stay a little later and find out why DLP is so popular! Yelp Reviews: http://www.yelp.ca/biz/the-delta-lion-pub-and-bistro-delta Phone:(604) 591-2111 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deltalionpub?ref=hl Please be aware that some people may be allergic to perfume or strong scents!

There is a musical rhythm that flows through Courtney Powell's art, a blending of serenity and chaos.  The movement exudes an energy that highlights different subject matter, varying from animals to characters to dreams.  Courtney is drawn to fairies, butterflies, and raccoons. A Vancouver-based artist, Courtney graduated from York University with a Specialized Honours in Studio Art.  Her artistic style has been influenced by several iconic painters: Jackson Pollock, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Mark Rothko, and Wilfredo Lam.  Non-traditional materials such as dried flowers, candle wax, and coloured hairspray have made their way onto her canvases. Courtney's work has been displayed in venues around Vancouver.  She has participated in exhibits at the ROAM Gallery and Grind Gallery & Coffee Bar.  She was also a participant in the Vancouver Art Attack in 2015.  When Courtney is not painting, she loves to run with her arms flailing (Phoebe-style), wander around the city, drink copious amounts of coffee, and look for raccoons.
