The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist

Use the promo code GOPAINT19 for $13 off!

Raise your glass to a NEW kind of night out! Yaymaker invites you to create art over cocktails at a local restaurant or bar, guided by a professional artist and party host. Grab your friends and spend two hours drinking, laughing, and flexing your creative muscles. There’s no experience necessary and we’ll provide all the supplies, so you don’t have to worry about a thing (except having a great time!). Must be of legal drinking age.

The event begins promptly at the start time listed above. Please allow extra time to find parking and get settled. If you're coming with a group (yay, how fun!) make sure you arrive early to get seats together - it's first come, first serve. If you're planning to eat dinner before the event, please arrive ONE HOUR before the event starts. There might not be plenty of room on your table for food AND your painting, but there's ALWAYS enough room for your drink!

Events last approximately two hours, at the end of which you get to take home your new masterpiece.

* Questions about your ticket? Please contact Yaymaker customer service at hello@yaymaker.com.

*No food or drink is included with your ticket price, and must be purchased at the restaurant. Please note, this is NOT A BYOB event.

Your host

Yaymaker Host Courtney Powell located in Aldergrove, BC

There is a musical rhythm that flows through Courtney Powell's art, a blending of serenity and chaos.  The movement exudes an energy that highlights different subject matter, varying from animals to characters to dreams.  Courtney is drawn to fairies, butterflies, and raccoons. A Vancouver-based artist, Courtney graduated from York University with a Specialized Honours in Studio Art.  Her artistic style has been influenced by several iconic painters: Jackson Pollock, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Mark Rothko, and Wilfredo Lam.  Non-traditional materials such as dried flowers, candle wax, and coloured hairspray have made their way onto her canvases. Courtney's work has been displayed in venues around Vancouver.  She has participated in exhibits at the ROAM Gallery and Grind Gallery & Coffee Bar.  She was also a participant in the Vancouver Art Attack in 2015.  When Courtney is not painting, she loves to run with her arms flailing (Phoebe-style), wander around the city, drink copious amounts of coffee, and look for raccoons.
