If you’re looking for ways to entertain yourself and your kids, join our Virtual Paint Nite. It has all the fun and interaction of a regular Yaymaker event from the comfort of your home.
Go through the regular check out process, and take a look below at supply recommendations. This is Bring Your Own Supplies event! Instructions for joining your live virtual event will be emailed directly to you. There you’ll get step-by-step instructions and a friendly face from the Yaymaker community bringing creativity straight to your screen. It couldn’t be easier! Each ticket purchase allows access on one device--please ensure your name when you enter the meeting matches your ticket, as you will not be able to attend the event unless the host can verify your purchase.
Recommended Supplies - source online, support small local businesses, or use supplies you already have at home!
- Canvas - we'll be using a 16x20, but use whatever works for you!
- Acrylic paints - you'll need red, blue, black and white for this version, but feel free to bring your own unique colors into the mix.
- Paint brushes
- Paint palette - a paper plate, recycled cardboard or plastic will do
- Cup of water, something you can wash easily or dispose of
- Protective apron or old t-shirt to keep your favorite outfits fresh even at home

Please note! If you don't have the supplies in your home: Dollarama, Michael's, Deserres or other craft stores will all have the basic supplies you need in store or online, as well as Amazon! Make due with you have otherwise, perhaps call before you head out to pick things up and please be aware of stores that have temporarily closed in your area. Looking forward to painting with you!
Geetanjali has been a Fulbright Scholar to the USA two times. She is a self-taught artist that has been teaching art for the last six years to kids and adults. She teaches watercolors, acrylics, mixed media and digital art. She has worked as a digital artist for Apple and has had two art shows in the US and two in India. She is a professional painter and successfully runs a small art business called 'Art Diaries' in her home country. Though her heart lies in Painting, she also has a Doctorate Degree in American Literature and has had over 10 years of teaching experience in Universities in the USA and India.
