The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist

Grab your friends and unleash your inner artist at the Original Paint Nite! In two hours you’ll go from a blank canvas to a masterpiece of your own, with plenty of laughs along the way. Guided by a talented and entertaining artist, you'll be amazed at what you create, and how much fun you have doing it. There’s no experience necessary and we’ll provide all the supplies, so you don’t have to worry about a thing - except having a great time!

This is an adult only, 19+ event. The event begins promptly at the start time listed, and seating is first come, first served. If you're coming with a group, we recommend arriving at least half an hour early to reserve seats together. If you're coming early for food or drink, be sure to check in with your Paint Nite host first to reserve seats. Food and drink may be purchased during the event. For venue details including a venue description, contact information, and accessibility information, please visit the venue page by clicking on the venue name/logo on this page.

Your host

Yaymaker Host Annie Burgess located in Guelph, Ontario

I received my BFA in Studio Arts and Art History at Concordia University in 2014. I am a multidisciplinary artist. I love to work with many mediums, primarily focusing on painting and ceramics. I have exhibited much of my work in galleries and craft shows across Montreal, QC and Ontario. After completing a 2016 artist residency for ceramics at Arquetopia in Puebla Mexico, I moved back to Guelph, ON, where I grew up, to pursue a career in teaching art and continuing my own practice. I continue to produce my work at the Alleyway Studios in Downtown Guelph. My work reflects the process and pleasure of the act of making. As I am quite passionate about the therapeutic qualities of art, I am very enthusiastic about inspiring others to create as well.
