About the cause

Golden Rescue is a not-for-profit, charitable organization, run solely by a large group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that Golden Retrievers who are abused, abandoned, neglected or surrendered can have a second chance at a better life with loving, forever families. Golden Rescue is the largest, single breed rescue group in Canada, funded solely by donations, and operates primarily in Ontario and Quebec with more recent rescues originating in Istanbul, Egypt and Shanghai. We have received wide-spread media attention for the work we have done and most recently were featured on CBC’s Rick Mercer Report. Our reach is extensive because of our large and generous support network. Please join us for an entertaining evening of fun and camaraderie and know that your participation will go toward saving a Golden who is in desperate need of our help. Can’t wait to meet you!

After being a part of Paint Nite for several years as an assistant in Toronto and manager in London and running Plant Nite London, it's such a TREE-t to bring Design a Sign to the London area, aka The Forest City (how fitting right?!).  I went to school for Child and Youth Work and Teaching and those experiences have prepared me to for anything that WOOD come up for DaS events! I am the centre of attention for elementary school students so having 25+ adults watching my every move for hours a night is right up his alley and a wonderful change of pace. I'm a social butterfly which fits great for these events and having fun and I'll go out on a limb to say I KNOW you will too.
