Design a Sign: Make a custom wood sign

Express yourself with a custom wood sign that showcases your personal style. Select your design from one of our stylish stencils or personalize one that’s uniquely you. Our master crafter will guide you through this 2-hour event where you’ll build and paint your one-of-a-kind sign.

Yaymaker events give you everything you need to get up, get out, and get making! Instruction is provided by a trained host, so no experience is required, and everything you need is supplied. Show up early to grab drinks & a bite to eat–and give your week something to shout about.

Nicole is currently a Fashion Communications student at Ryerson University, but, despite her passion for fashion, Nicole has practiced fine and contemporary art for over ten years! Not only does she enjoy painting and drawing, she also loves teaching her passions to all those willing to learn! Having previous experience in coaching children in sports, as well as educating adolescences and adults in fashion, art, and design - both in a studio and community outreach setting - Nicole loves to create an inclusive learning environment where everyone can discover their creative potencial! So, come on out and get ready to enjoy an evening full of laughter, discoveries, and of course, painting!
