Paint Nite: Dancing with the Stars II
The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist
Hello lovely artists,
This is a *special event* located on Oyama Lake. We've turned our bus into a Paint Nite studio and would love to have you all come up and join in on the fun! This event does not allow for coupons BUT it does include a free drink of your choice and tasty snacks for everyone to share! Additional beverages may be purchased for $5
Come up early and take a tour around the lake. There are 27 islands to explore and we have a variety of canoes, kayaks, pontoons, paddle boards and boats for rent.
Want to drink all the drinks and not have to worry about making the trip back home? Don't worry, we have a variety of cabin options that range in ammenities and are priced starting at just $55 per night! Visit us at www.Oyamalake.com for more information about cabin rentals. (Cabins and tent sites are booking up fast so be sure to call early if you plan to stay the night!)
Feel like staying later? We have a communal bonfire pit and a big bbq for those who want to stick around and roast some sausages and/or marshmallows. If you can belt out a tune or two we also have musical instruments to share. Message me (Your Oyama Lake artist) with any questions at Nickie.Burditt@paintnite.com
*Please note that this event is located 25 minutes up a logging road from the town of Oyama. The road is bumpy and we recommend having a 4x4 vehicle (I have seen an Audi, smart car and a BMW make it up, but not recommended)
BIG things have come to Oyama Lake Eco Lodge! We now have a giant school bus transformed into your new favorite paint party spot. Not only do you get to learn how to paint a magical painting next to an amazing lake, but you can also catch a tasty trout for dinner! This lake has 27 islands so don't hesitate to come up early and rent a boat for a trip to your own private island. - Be warned that our road in is not for the faint of heart. It is located 25 mins up a bumpy logging road. Worth the trek, but be warned the road is rough. - Primary faciities are out houses. There is a ladies flush toilet located next to the main lodge. - If you would like to book a cabin for the evening go to: www.oyamalake.com For questions feel free to reach out to me (The Oyama Lake Artist) anytime at Nickie.Burditt@paintnite.com
Art has always been an outlet for me, from making music to drawing and painting. I would literally draw, paint and write on anything I can lay my hands on. I have painted on rocks and glued googly eyes on them as well as leftover firewood. And then my fur baby and I would cycle around the city to leave these pieces in random spots. My subject matter mostly comes from my life experiences. Art to me is another form of expressing myself and sharing a message with the world. I graduated from Victoria University, Australia in Multimedia Systems majoring in Digital Arts and about a decade ago in Montreal, I was introduced to oil paint and started transferring my imaginations with oil instead. At this moment, I was also doing freelance fashion and wedding photography and it was mind blasting!! With all that combined – I took art and mixed media to a whole new level! Now in Calgary, I have expanded my horizons over to Acrylic Paint and Wood Burning – pyrography and paint !?!?!?! Somebody, please calm me down ;p On that note, I am very excited to share my passion and energy as a Paint Nite Instructor and looking forward to seeing all your beautiful personalities come through on our big blank canvas!
