At a very young age Jose knew art and creativity was going to play a major role in his life. Being the third oldest in a family of six children, money was always scarce. Unable to afford the popular toys such as GI Joe Action Figures he would create his own out of cardboard, including the fortress. In high school and in college Jose majored in Drafting and Architecture. His favorite subjects were Art and Art History but later decided to pursue a career in business. After several years of working in the business world he decided to return to his true calling, the Visual Arts. Jose has attended classes at Otis College of Art and Design and continues to do so. In 2014 he exhibited his works of art at his first solo art show and has also exhibited works at the Santa Fe Springs Annual Art Festival. Jose’s main focus is in drawing and digital media. He also enjoys painting and photography. “I look forward to sharing with you my enjoyment of the arts and I hope that the Art Bug rubs off on you.”
