La Fleur's Winery

Over a decade ago we were introduced to a small urban winery and found the experience most intriguing. We started volunteering and participating in the process and haven’t stopped since. In 2013 we sold our family home in Oceanside to purchase a property where we could start a vineyard. La Fleur's Vineyards was established in 2014 in the fertile soils of the Hidden Valley Escondido area. During the spring of 2014 our first one hundred Petite Sirah vines were planted. This was an exciting time for our family and we enjoyed a planting party with close family and friends! We followed the next year and planted two hundred Zinfandel vines. We are excited to have harvested our first estate wine - Petite Sirah, now bottled and ready to share. Our passion continues to grow and we have now doubled our vineyard adding Cabernet Sauvignon.   We hope you enjoy!   For large parties (10 or more) or special requests, please contact us directly at   We will have food trucks alternating different events. You are also welcome to come with your own picnic basket, pizza or cheese and crackers to enjoy along with your La Fleur Wine.

Your host

Hello! My name is Maeve - and before you ask - Maeve rhymes with Dave. :-)   I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, and my very first job was face-painting and drawing caricature cartoons at local theme parks. Since then I have worked in the fields of traditional art, digital art, graphic design, and a number of other creative pursuits such as filmmaking, writing, and multimedia marketing.   Hosting Paint Nite is AWESOME, because I love bringing art to fun, casual settings. Painting is some of the best stress relief therapy, especially in the approachable and non-judgmental setting of Paint Nite. In art, "there are no mistakes, only happy accidents," as my hero Bob Ross says.   Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist, or anywhere in between, I encourage you to come to one of my Paint Nite events. I just know you'll have a great time painting and drinking creatively with me.   -Maeve
