Qusquo Bistro in West LA serves up authentic, delicious Peruvian cuisine thanks to owner Lucy, whose family is from the Qusquo area, hence how the name was created. She has had this restaurant for about 8 yrs now and many delicious items you will not find elsewhere.Start with the homemade Carrot Soup with no cream or butter. So tasty! For appetizers try the Palta Rellena, which is acocado with stuffed shrimp salad or enjoy the meat stuffed fried potatoes and the fresh cooked salmon with a side of rice and beans. For entrees try the seafood paella, which is great and full of shrimp, calamari and mussels with saffron rice and the most popular dish is the Saltados; Famous Peruvian dish, a mix of East and West Sauteed with onions, tomatoes, chilies and potatoes served with steamed rice. End with the peruvian cookies and ice cream and you will be fully satisfied. The happy hour is fantastic from 5:30-7:30 with drink and food specials. There is also penty of street parking at this location.
