The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist
Make some more YAY this week and come on out to an Original Paint Nite party at Trek Winery, your new favorite local spot. You'll laugh and lift a glass with your favorite people and oh yeah, create a masterpiece step-by-step in under two hours. Our master artist Ron Bean will guide you through the whole process - no matter what your experience level, you'll be amazed at what you can do. Follow the steps to make your chosen painting or go rogue and create something all your own! Anything goes. At Yaymaker, we are all about that extra YAY in your week and helping you explore your creative side.
Trek Winery sells wine by the tasting, glass, bottle, and case. For $5, you can taste five of our award winning wines. Reds, whites, or a mix of both! After the tasting, each tasting fee is waived when buying a bottle. The tasting room also sells premium olive oils and wine merchandise including jewelry, wine glasses, pourers, and more! Their is no food served at Trek Winery, so outside food is permitted for Paint Nite. No outside beverages are permitted.
I grew up painting plein air watercolors with my Dad and sister Sue. My father was an art director at Chicago advertising firms and my sister and I are graphic artists. My father could draw anything and hand letter any font. Sue and I use Apple computers to draw images. Eliot O'Hara, Frank Webb and Carolyn Lord are a few of my favorite watercolorists. I am getting up to speed with these acrylics working for Paint Nite and am enjoying the challenge.
