Michael has spent his whole life cooking. The restaurant is located on Main Street in Soquel, and features what Michael calls “cutting-edge comfort cuisine." His philosophy about comfort food means getting back to the basics, such as meat and potatoes, and keeping the prices down. The entire staff at Michael’s on Main invites you to come enjoy cutting-edge comfort cuisine in a friendly, casual atmosphere! You can dress-up or come as you are. We want you to relax and enjoy yourself. We take pride in using local produce and products and we want you to enjoy them in as relaxed an atmosphere as possible. Our prices are reasonable and our wines are hand chosen for flavor, as well as value. $15 Corkage fee . Enjoy the scenic splendor of Soquel Creek while dining on our patio, or our fireside room with ceiling to floor windows.
You know life is good when you’re out on a weeknight, with a paintbrush in one hand and a glass of wine in the other :) I’m a Monterey Bay based artist that specializes in acrylic and mixed media art. I have a special place in my heart for intense color and impressionistic painting. I’ve had my work displayed at local galleries in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties as well as several locations in the greater Bay Area. Every one of my Paint Nites is a party where friends, family and strangers come together to try something new. I love seeing returning painters improve their skill but most important is sharing good times, good drinks, and good laughs with my fellow painters. For me Paint Nite is a fantastic break from the daily grind and I hope that it will prove the same for you!
