Baking Class

Hello and thank you for giving me this opportunity to teach fun and helpful recipes. My name is Trish, a Licensed Partner for Yaymaker, I am prior Army, with a ton of culinary experiences and shortcuts.

I am in Mountain Time Zone 9:30 AM, If you are in Pacific 8:30 AM, If you are in Eastern 11:30 PM

What you will need for this experience:   Pen and Paper to take down the recipe, we all work at different speeds, I alot 2 hours per each experience, though the entire time may not be needed.  We do not have to rush,  there is plenty of time for you to ask questions, do not feel shy, everyone is here to learn.

  • All-purpose flour (I find sifting makes for a softer bread) (plus additional if dough is to sticky and for rolling out your dough),

  • Baking soda  * baking powder  * sugar    *salt      *sugar  *butter (MUST BE BUTTER)

  • 12 ounces Beer: winter ale, strawberry, stout, raspberry (or wheat beer)  Have fun with it, sweet beer for sweeter rolls, watch IPA it sours the taste of the dough.  Darker beers like stout have a stronger taste.  For this experience I will be using Apple Beer.  Wheat and Yeast beers work best (Do not use non alcoholic beer doesn’t turn out)  Beer will burn off and leave no level of intoxication

  • For the filling: *butter (Must Be Butter) *softened *cinnamon  * nutmeg, *brown sugar  *white sugar

  • Icing: *butter (Must Be Butter)   *softened cream cheese  *powdered sugar  * vanilla extract  *whole milk  (no skim or 1% makes for a lousy tasting Icing)  whipping cream great substitute

Cooking Utensils and pans you will need: Measuring cups, measuring spoons, spatula, cookie sheet with edges, mixing bowl, all my beer breads and doughs are done by fork and hand.  Sifter, small bowl for melted butter
