Stout Shepherds Pie

Hello and thank you for giving me this opportunity to teach fun and helpful recipes. My name is Trish, a Licensed Partner for Yaymaker, I am prior Army, with a ton of culinary experiences and shortcuts. 

I am in Mountain Time Zone 12:30 PM, If you are in Pacific 11:30 AM, If you are in Eastern 2:30 PM 

What you will need for this experience:   Pen and Paper to take down the recipe, we all work at different speeds, I alot 2 hours per each experience, though the entire time may not be needed.  We do not have to rush,  there is plenty of time for you to ask questions, do not feel shy, everyone is here to learn.  


Mashed Potatoes : 10 Med  White, Red or Russet Potatoes, Peeled (Unless you like country style) cut into 2 in by 2 in, boiled, Sour Cream , Cream Cheese, 1 Egg beaten until light yellow, 

Stewed Tomatoes:  1 ½ LBS Tomatoes or 1-16 ounce Stewed Tomatoes, 4 Cups Water, Tablespoon Italian Seasoning 

Roux: Salted Butter, all-purpose flour 

Beer Sauce : 1- 12 ounce Stout Beer, 1 Cube beef bouillon, Worcestershire Sauce 

Meat Mixture:  Black pepper, Olive oil, 1 ½  pound Lamb, Ground Hamburger, Ground Buffalo, Ground Sausage, Ground Chicken, Ground Elk (I use 1 Ground Hamburger and ½ Beer Sausage, raw, Salt 

Saute 

3 Cloves Garlic diced or 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 1 small diced Onions, raw, 1 small chopped Carrots, raw, 1 stalk diced Celery and Olive Oil 

Mix In’s:   ½ cup  frozen Peas,  ½ Cup frozen Corn

Garnish:  Garnish Sharp Cheddar 

Large Frying Pan, 2 Medium Cooking Pots, Cutting Board, Large Cutting Knife, Washrag, Measuring Cups, Measuring Spoons, Spatula, Hand Mixer or Potato Masher,  Medium Mixing Bowl 9X13 inch baking pan
