The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist
Masterpieces are no longer just for Masters. At the Original Paint Nite, you'll party and paint AND walk away with your own amazing creation! Our talented local artist will take you step-by-simple-step through all you need to know to create your painting. No experience necessary – and we promise you'll be amazed by what you can do. Come early for a glass of wine or a snack before you get started - we'll handle the rest. At Yaymaker we provide you with all you need to create a little extra YAY in your week.
You will need your own supplies to join this event. We recommend Michael's they have curb side pick up. ONCE YOU GET YOUR STARTER KIT, YOU WILL ONLY NEED PAINT AND CANVAS (STARTER KIT: 5pk brushes, 6pk 2oz paints, a canvas and a easel - optional) Use your own supplies: You Will Need a canvas or something similar to Paint on, Red, blue, yellow, black and white paint. If you have an easel, great, but not needed. And a pack of brushes, (preferably 5pk) You can always lay them flat on a table or find something to lean a canvas on. Other supplies needed are a paper plate, a paper towel, and a cup half filled with luke warm water.
Pamela Westmoreland was born in Rochester, NY and has been living in Jacksonville, Florida since 2001. She also has a Masters Degree in Finance from South University. She started painting after she became widowed as an therapeutic measure and found she had an hidden talent. She enjoys painting every moment she can, and enjoy more helping others discover their inner artistic nature.
I could only see the host when I used Zoom, I could not see the canvas being painted, so I could not paint the picture. I was disappointed .
Some people in Zoom were having technical issues which led us to start a little late. The instructor went a little too fast for me where the process felt rushed, and she seemed a little impatient with people's questions. I needed to add in the palm trees o
