Paint Nite: Barnyard blossoms
The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist
Come and paint this barnyard blossom piece with me! Unleash your inner creativity by painting this beautiful piece and have fun while doing it! Keep in mind this is a BYOS (Bring Your Own Supplies) event. You can find the supplies online, your local arts & crafts store, or use supplies you already have at home! If you have an easel, great, but not needed. You can always lay them flat on a table or find something to lean a canvas on.
Supplies you'll need:
Canvas - I recommend 11x14 or larger. If you cannot get a canvas, you could paint on wood, cardboard, poster board or thick paper.
Brushes - A large flat brush; a medium brush (square or round tip); and a small detail brush.
Acrylic Paint - You will need pink, green, brown, blue, black, and white. (If you cannot find pink or brown paint, you can use red, blue, yellow to make brown. And red and white to make pink).
A paper plate or recycled cardboard to use as a palette for your paint.
An old towel or paper towel for wiping your brush.
Cup of water, something you can wash easily or dispose of.
Protective apron or old t-shirt to keep your favorite outfits fresh even at home
Hi everyone! My name is Bridget and I am a newbie artist, freelance writer, and an assistant teacher at a public elementary school. Here's my story of how I became an artist: While it's true I enjoy writing, something inside of me kept telling me to paint. So, I visited a local arts & crafts store and purchased my first acrylic paint set, paint brushes, and a pack of canvases. And I haven't put the paint brush down since!! I discovered I had a talent for art and painting is therapeutic. I feel alive when I paint or look at a painting! I host beginners or anyone who just simply want to have fun painting. My personal style of hosting isn't rigid nor boring. Rather, I like to have fun, joke around, and relax.
She is friendly, and a great encouraging teacher!!
Nice and a lot of fun overall :)
