Create a Ukulele: Say “aloha” to the happiest little instrument

Make some music Tuesday night at a Create a Ukelele event, when you make your own fully functional little ukulele! In just two hours our master crafter Yaymaker Host will guide you through all the steps to envision, build, paint, and tune up your ukulele, so you'll leave the night strumming. No experience necessary! Just bring your friends and your laughter to Bertucci's Columbia – come early for an extra glass of wine and a bite to eat – and we'll do the rest. Yaymaker events always provide all you need to get up, get making, and make YAY!

Total Price of this experience includes an Experience Fee.

You may reschedule or cancel tickets up to 8 hours before the event starts. Read our reschedule policy here.

Bertucci's Columbia

Located in the Snowden Square shopping center in Columbia, there is ample parking. Join us for our Paint Nite parties in our private room where we'll be free from distractions and eager to get the party started! There will be a server with us, so you can drink and dine while you paint, or if you prefer, come early and enjoy the Happy Hour specials at the bar! Bertucci's Happy Hour runs until 7pm and includes some half priced apps, flat breads, and $3 wine (my favorite).   At the center of every Bertucci’s lives our brick oven. For over 30 years, since our first kitchen opened in the Davis Square neighborhood of Somerville, MA in 1981, we’ve been perfecting the art of brick oven cooking. From the beginning, we’ve built a tradition of creating unique pizzas and pasta combinations. These recipes all share some very important things in common. They use only the freshest ingredients, and we take the time to make each by hand.    Today, 88 Bertucci’s restaurants are firing up brick ovens from New England to Virginia, each reflecting the distinct character and local charm of their community. But like the original Bertucci’s, every kitchen is also open, making our brick oven part of the restaurant experience. We believe that watching your food being prepared is an integral part to enjoying it. With a strong and dedicated commitment to hospitality, we welcome you as our guest, and we promise to always treat you as part of the Bertucci’s family. For more information, visit their website.
