Believe it or not, there is a REAL Alice. She purchased the site of Alice’s in 2007 and began working on creating her “dream restaurant”. The food had to be quality – but not over the top. The feel of the dining room had to be comfortable – but not sloppy. And the customers – they would feel comfortable taking a seat no matter why or how they came – for a date, a special party, business meeting or family gathering after a day on the lake. Over a decade later, Alice’s continues to operate with those ideals in mind. Alice and her team work hard to excite the senses and engage the guests with an excellent setting, delicious food and seamless service. While Alice doesn’t work daily at the restaurant, she works closely with Executive Chef Jeff Callahan, General Manager, Leslie Werner and the Best Bartender in the world, Al Guglielmo. Lake Hopatcong is one of New Jersey’s few natural gems with a rich history – Alice’s is proud to be a part of a vibrant community.
