About Us

The North Brunswick Pub took New Jersey by storm the summer of 1979 when Bruce Barasky bought the 1864 Route 1 property. It quickly came known as the local townie bar with reasonable prices and good pub grub.

The pub has been through many changes. The biggest change happened in 1995 when the expansion of route 1 forced Bruce to knock down the entire structure and rebuild from the bottom up. With the help of his sons and a great construction crew, the pub reopened 6 months later better than ever. We have the entire construction process in a photo collage on wall of restaurant. Thanks to this long process we now have the local hangout that so many of us call our second home.

The North Brunswick Pub has something for everyone. During the day we offer great affordable lunches and you can chat it up with the old timers and hear stories of the “old pub, pre construction days”. Any day of the week you can enjoy dinner with your friends and family in a casual setting. And any night party it up with our excellent juke box choices, Djs on the weekends, and entertainment.

In August 2009, Bruce celebrated his 30th anniversary at the North Brunswick Pub. Along with his three children, Brian, Kevin, and Katie, and his wife Connie, he plans on serving the public for many more years. The Barasky Family takes deep pride in keeping The North Brunswick Pub a fun and friendly atmosphere where all people are welcome. They owe all of their success to their hardworking staff and most of all their extremely loyal customers.CONVIENTLY LOCATED ON ROUTE 1 FOR OVER 30 YEARS!!! BEST LOCAL BAR IN AREA!!
