Yaymaker Host AnaRuth Aldana located in Llano, NM

My  name is AnaRuth Aldana (ARA for short). I  was born and raised in Guatemala City, I came to the USA in 1985  and moved to New Mexico in 1999 . Since then I have become a woodland loving artist who dwells in the northern high mountains of New Mexico. In 2008 I received an Associate degree in Drawing and Painting from the University of New Mexico. I have been creating art since  was a child. I have periodically worked in graphic design over the years, from designing brochures to book covers. I have done work creating background sets for the theater and constructing installations for other artists. I love playing with colors, textures, and the human form.  It brings me great joy to share my knowledge with others and I cannot wait to paint and learn with you at Paint Nite!

It appeared that the host did not know how to paint. She kept saying "I will have to fix this. You probably need to too".

She was so patient and helpful - lots of useful tips and tricks.

She conducted the class much too fast, at times didn't seem to know what she was doing, difficult to understand & there was a lot of ‘down time'. I've been wanting to paint this picture for months, but this class really was a disaster. I actually gave up.
