http://buffalobrewerydistrict.com/pearl/ *Paint Nite guests: Come early to Brawler's Back Alley Deli to enjoy Happy Hour Prices & 10% off food starting at 5:30pm!* Welcome to Buffalo’s coolest new tourism district – The Buffalo Brewery District! Encompassing an area that includes downtown Buffalo south of Tupper, the Lake Erie shoreline, Buffalo Erie Canal and Buffalo River waterfront, this area has a long history of travel, trade, industry and commerce generated by the Great Lakes and Erie Canal. The waterfront silos tell the story of the ships that docked in our waters from around the world and the commodities traded, not the least of which were grains for the making of beer and other spirits. Out of the maelstrom of the teeming masses of Foofoos, Lakers, Canawlers, Blacklegs, Macaronies, Whitelegs, Scalpers, Scoopers, Roughnecks and Runners our nation was reborn. The Babel-like confusion of Canal Street and the Commercial Slip was the Western terminus of the new America on the march, the brave new world, the hope of the unanointed and the downtrodden. The result of this amazing period of Buffalo’s history was that we were the “Silicon Valley” of America for over 50 years. We helped to lead the way with the craft beer revolution! Under the watchful eyes of Lake Effect Man and his buddy, the Brawler, we offer guests 8 bars on four levels and serve authentic and ethnic Buffalo pub foods. Our “Murderers Row” typically includes 17 of our Microbrews on tap, and you won’t want to miss the authentic, historic deli in the "bowels" of the 1841 section of our building. Here at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery we are “Real” Buffalo and proud of it. Come be part of the energy and the experience.
I am a Bronx native who has always had a love and appreciation for art. As a little girl, I would stay home & paint along with Bob Ross. As a teen, I was accepted into both, Art & Design H.S. & F.H. LaGuardia H.S. of Music & Art & the Performing Arts. Ultimately, I chose the Fine Arts program at LaGuardia. Aside from learning to dance on tables in the cafeteria (FAME!), I studied many different forms of art & mediums (drawing, charcoal, printmaking, 3D design, Sculpture, Painting in oils & water colors). Since then, I have continued to create in those & self-teach in many new forms of creative outlets. These include flair bartending, event planning & cake decorating. I believe art & being creative is an outlet we all need to embrace and incorporate into our everyday lives. Allow yourself to stand out, try something new. Remember, "Normal" is overrated. Let yourself shine! We all have it in us. So, grab a friend, brush, and drink & come join me at PaintNite!
