Yaymaker Host Tony Tan

Tony Tan is an illustrator by trade and a born and raised New Yorker. He graduated with a BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts where he concentrated on children's book illustration and concept art. Today he is a production assistant at a small start up animation studio as well as a freelance illustrator.  Traveling all over the U.S. in his college years and studying in San Francisco for a year at the California College of the Arts has added life experiences and contributed his style in his art work. Many of his influences comes from urban street artists, toy designers to illustrators such as Norman Rockwell.  Tony's illustrations can be described as playful, conceptual and insightful. His goal is to rekindle the feelings and memories of childhood experiences and to remember what it was like to live in wonder as a child.
