Plant Nite: Dig, drink and be merry

Cultivate your creativity, naturally. Our gifted growers will guide you step-by-step as you make a mini Zen garden, succulent arrangement, or tiny terrarium. Dig in for two lively hours of planting, creating, and laughing with the group.

Yaymaker events give you everything you need to get up, get out, and get making! Instruction is provided by an expert host, so no experience is required, and everything you need is supplied. Show up early to grab drinks & a bite to eat–and give your week something to shout about.

Total Price of this experience includes an Experience Fee.

Great Northern Food Hall

Great Northern Food Hall is a collection of pavilions and a full-service bar that serve "New York Nordic" cuisine. Time and place, deliciousness, and the simple idea that food matters beyond pleasure are the guiding principles of everything we do. At Great Northern Food Hall we partner with farmers and producers of the New York region and cook what nature gives us at this very moment. Our culinary philosophy is using only the best and seasonal ingredients, and making everything from fresh, from scratch on site, every day.  Enjoy our Danish pastries, wide variety of breads, and American-focused beers and craft cocktails.

Your host

Yaymaker Host Thomas McLaughlin

Thomas McLaughlin was born and raised in the countryside of Upstate New York; so plants always played a big part of his life. However he prefers the busier, more social city life much more and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. Thomas is a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology where he studies textile/surface design. When not at school, he enjoys working for Paint Nite and Plant Nite where he gets to meet new faces, have fun and plant the night away!
