Paint Nite: Moonrise Mountain
The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist
This week, your favorite local bar becomes the most rocking art museum, full of your own creations! At the Original Paint Nite, a talented local artist will take you through all the steps from blank canvas to finished painting, all while you drink, laugh (and maybe even dance to some tunes). It's a party and a class all at once! No experience necessary, just bring your friends and your fun and we'll do the rest. At Yaymaker, we provide all you need to get up, get making, and get to exploring your creative side.
From tasty cheese plates and cocktails to delicious coffee and pastries Just Us Girls has something that everyone will enjoy. 1. Paint Nite is only for adults age 21 and older. Babies, kids and teens are NOT allowed. Anyone under age 21 will be asked to leave. No refunds will be given. Our logo contains alcohol and most of our events take place in BARS with ADULT conversations. Even if our events are at a winery or cafe, alcohol will be served. We love children but our events are always a designated time for grown-ups. 2. This is NOT a BYOB event. Drinks, food and gratuity are NOT included in the ticket price. Your preferred drinks and/or food are purchased directly from the venue on the day or night of the event. Please drink responsibly. Thank you for supporting our local venues.
Erika is an artist in many crafts. She has been paiting for about 7 years, drawing for 20, and writing for even longer. A resident of Salem, she is a high school Language Arts teacher, a creative writer, and an artist. She graduated from Western Oregon University with an MAT, a BA in Writing, a BS in psychology, and minor in studio art. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her animals, and creating something new and beautiful. Erika believes that everyone can learn new skills with enough dedication, study, and practice, and this is the attitude she projects into her classrooms. Paint nite is another teaching outlet where she can give people the confidence to try something new and learn while having fun. Recently, Erika has been exploring the skill and creativity of scratch art and hopes to add it to her list of craft skills.
