Teaching art has been a passion of mine since a young age. I grew up in Endicott, NY and attended Union-Endicott High School where art was a valued subject. I learned ceramics, drawing, photography, sculpture, metal-smithing, design, and painting. I love working with many different mediums, and find that each have their own unique properties which can create beautiful works of art. After high school I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I studied Art Education and obtained a B.S.ED K-12. From there, I decided to pursue my passion of teaching further by attending Oklahoma State University where I worked towards and received a M.A. in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership. Today, I still have a strong desire for teaching and the arts. As I continue my study, and work in art, I enjoy fostering a love for art in others, and sharing my knowledge. I strive to not only be a teacher of the arts, but always to be a student as well, because there is always something more to learn.
