Grab your friends and unleash your inner artist at the Original Paint Nite. You’ll go from a blank canvas to a masterpiece of your own, with plenty of laughs along the way. Guided by a talented and entertaining artist, you'll be amazed at what you create, and how much fun you have doing it.
Yaymaker events give you everything you need to get up, get out, and get making! Instruction is provided by an expert host, so no experience is required, and everything you need is supplied. Grab your friends to paint, plant, tinker, and build—and give your week something to shout about.
There are many reasons why we decided to brew. First is family, second is our love for beer, and third is our love for each other. Our dream to open our own brewery has been in the works for 5 years. We have always wanted to start a family owned business. Something to give to our kids and pass down. We started off as many do, homebrewing. We started and realized that we wanted to share our craft beer with others. We wanted to bring the craft beer environment to our community and chose to go back to where it all first started. Cheers! Food Note: Policy Kings does not offer food, however you are welcome to bring in or order delivered food from other restaurants to enjoy at our Paint Nites. Please Note: Paint Nite is only for adults age 21 and older. This is NOT a BYOB event. Drinks, food and gratuity are NOT included in the ticket price. Your preferred drinks are purchased directly from the venue on the night of the event. Thank you.
My interest in art started when I was very young, from sewing and ceramics to scrapbooking. Being involved in some sort of creative project was my happy place. I became a Massage Therapist where I learned that this too was considered an art. Over time my passion grew and then I started teaching it. When Paint Nite first appeared in St. George, my friend and I became regulars. From the very first event my addiction started and my life has not been the same since. I see the world in a different light. I enjoy my surroundings more; the shadows and the contrasts. Painting is now where I find acceptance and peace. I hope to inspire those I teach to slow down and enjoy their beautiful surroundings just a little more.
