Recommended Supplies - source online, support small local businesses, or use the supplies you already have at home!

- Canvas - we'll be using a 16x20".  If you don't have a canvas, a piece of cardboard cut to size could also work! Even better, you can upcycle and reuse old Paint Nite paintings. Just paint white (or gesso) all over the old painting, let it dry, and paint away!

- Acrylic paints - you'll need red, blue, yellow, black and white for this version, but feel free to bring your own unique colors into the mix. We use Bright Red, Chrome Yellow, Pthalo Blue, Mars Black, and Titanium White.

- Easel -  If you have an easel, great, but not needed.  You can always lay them flat on a table or find something to lean a canvas on.

- Paint brushes -  A larger brush 3/4" to 1" wide, some type of skinny brush to paint details and something in between.

- Paint palette - a paper plate, recycled cardboard or plastic will do

- Cup of water, something you can wash easily or dispose of

- Protective apron or old t-shirt to keep your favorite outfits fresh even at home

#TeamMarian   Art enthusiast extraordinaire! Graduated from Westminster College in 2013 with Bachelors in Fine Arts and Art Administration, I have followed my love of art here to paint nite. I also spend my other time working at the Utah Museum of Contompary art; because, there's no such thing as too much art. I love a good conversation about anything so if you see me at a paint nite event chat me up and lets drink creatively together.

Felt like she quickly painted the picture and then left us to fend for ourselves. Would have liked more instruction delivered slowly with pauses in between steps so we have time to copy. Yes, we can do anything we want, but would have preferred to copy h
