What you need: You can use any supplies you may already have at home, purchase the supplies from Yaymaker through this link (https://shop.yaymaker.com/products/personal-paint-kit) and they will be mailed to you, or purchase your own supplies.
Supply recommendations:
Paint: You can use ANY kind of ACRYLIC paint in colors red, yellow, blue, black, and white. Liquitex Basics Acrylics and Artist's Loft Acrylics are popular brands and available at many retailers. For most paintings, the average person will only need 1 - 1.5 ounces of white paint, and .5 - 1 ounce of every other color. This means your paint purchase will last for many projects!
Canvas: Canvases can be found online at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann, Walmart, DickBlick.com, a resale store or a local shop near you. We use a 16 x 20 Artist's Loft canvas from Michael's. You can use any size you wish, you can use canvas boards, wood panels, cardboard, or re-paint canvases you already have. Just be sure to give it a coat or two of white paint or acrylic primer before we start if you're repainting over an existing painting!
Brushes: There are LOTS of different brush choices, and every artist has a unique preference. Make sure you get at least 3 different sizes, most importantly a small baby brush for details! -A larger brush 3/4" to 1" wide, some type of skinny brush to paint details and one or two in between.
Easel: "Tabletop easels" are available online for $10 and less through Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Target, and DickBlick. An easel is optional, because you can prop your canvas up against something or paint with it flat on the table.
Other supplies you will need:
a cup for water
a paper plate for a palette
a paper towel, cloth, or rag
an apron or old piece of clothing you don't mind getting messy
a plastic or reusable tablecloth, trash bag, or newspapers to keep your table clean
