Your host
Anne is a native Seattleite and has been on an artistic journey most of her life. Even as a child, she was creative and had a knack for expressing herself through the arts. This continued at the University of Washington, where she majored in cultural anthropology, specializing in Northwest Coast native cultures, and a minor in fine arts. Working with Native artists to cross cultural and predisposed artistic boundaries, Anne rediscovered her love of painting. As she began her creative journey again, Anne found that painting offered a peace and healing in her life. She loves being able to connect with and help other people express their creative passions.
