Paint Nite: Bee-utiful Barnyard Lilacs
The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist
This event is for the kids, or adults, in the family and has all the fun of a regular Paint Nite event but in the comfort of your own home. If you want to draw, you will need paper, markers, crayons or colored pencils. If you have paint supplies, you will need paint, brushes, canvas, water, paper plate, paper towels, etc. We use primary colors (blue, red and yellow) and black and white paint. You will learn how to mix using just these colors. We typically use a larger flat brush for most backgrounds and a small detail brush; if you have a medium brush that will be helpful. Be creative and use what you have at home, maybe it is a recycled canvas, a piece of wood in the garage. We will show you how to create this picture in approximately 1.5 hours. Please go to Zoom.com to download the required software program (free). You will receive a one-time link to access the event.
NOTE: Recommended Supplies: Paint Nite supply kits and craft supplies are available for purchase at https://urbanpaper.square.site/ or you can use supplies you have at home. Some craft stores such as Michaels, Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Fabrics are either open or have curbside pick up. Check with your local crafter since some stores are opening up!
The paint and sip movement has opened doors for new projects in mural painting, commissioned canvas work, group events and more. It is a fun way to bring people together and encourage one another. I love being a part of this community.
She is an amazing host and very patient with her students!
She went way too fast.
Pleasant but moves to fast through the steps.
