The Original Paint Nite: Unleash your inner artist

Grab your friends and unleash your inner artist at the Original Paint Nite. You’ll go from a blank canvas to a masterpiece of your own, with plenty of laughs along the way. Guided by a talented and entertaining artist, you'll be amazed at what you create, and how much fun you have doing it.

Yaymaker events give you everything you need to get up, get out, and get making! Instruction is provided by an expert host, so no experience is required, and everything you need is supplied. Grab your friends to paint, plant, tinker, and build—and give your week something to shout about.

Your location

Sazs State House

Established in March of 1976, Saz’s State House is where it all began for Saz’s Hospitality Group. Over the past four decades, Steve Sazama’s original vision for a first-rate restaurant and sports bar has grown into a destination restaurant with a loyal following. As evidenced by a collection of awards resulting from community nominations, Saz’s State House continues to proudly serve the community both in and outside of the expanded restaurant walls. Featuring favorites like its signature BBQ Baby Back Ribs and BBQ Pork Sandwich, the State House also boasts a robust event schedule, seasonal specials, private event space, and complimentary shuttles to and from many Milwaukee sporting events. Photo of a Yaymaker Host named Alexa Uselmann

A Wisconsin local, Alexa has been passionate about making art to share with those around her since before she can remember. She has learned drawing, painting of many types, and other crafting projects through both school and self teaching. Alexa attends UW-Parkside currently and is working toward a degree in Theatre Arts with a focus on scenic painting. She has worked across the country painting sets for various theaters and has loved every second. With her art inspired by everyday life, she fulfills her creative brain for herself. With her theatre artistry and work with YayMaker, she fulfills the need to share art with others.
