Paint Nite loves Pets, and we think yours deserves their own portrait - painted by you!
How this works and what’s included:
Email a clear, well lit photo of your furry friend (just one pet please!) to deon@localyaymaker.com
DEADLINE: Photos must be received by Friday 19 March.
We get the creative process started for you by drawing an outline of your pet onto a 16 x 20” canvas.
We then deliver the canvas to your door so you can dive right in.
This is a virtual event so pants are optional but you'll need your own paint and brushes..
Recommended Supplies:
#20 Flat brush and #7 Round brush
Blue, red, yellow, black, and white acrylic paint
Paint pallet or mixing plate, water cup, paper towels
Don't forget drinks and munchies
Supply kits are available from us, just mention it to Deon when you send your photo - or you can also find what you need at your local craft store.

During my training as a Graphic Artist and throughout my work in advertising and design, colour has played a very important role in my work. Colour is everywhere. We’re surrounded by it, we can’t avoid it and I find my inspiration can come from anywhere. Each painting I create is an experiment of different colour schemes. Colour is fundamental to our sense of self and has also been at the heart of human culture. My favourite colour is red - when it comes to wine, of course, and when I #DrinkCreatively magic happens!
