About Us

Over a decade ago we were introduced to a small urban winery and found the experience most intriguing. We started volunteering and participating in the process and have not stopped since. In 2013 we sold our family home in Oceanside to purchase a property where we could start a vineyard. La Fleur Vineyards was established in 2014 in the fertile soils of the Hidden Valley Escondido area. During the spring of 2014 our first one hundred Petite Sirah vines were planted. This was an exciting time for our family and we enjoyed a planting party with close family and friends! We followed the next year and planted two hundred Zinfandel vines. We are excited to have harvested our first estate wine - Petite Sirah, now bottled and ready to share. Our passion continues to grow and we have now doubled our vineyard A winemaker from a local winery/vineyard overheard us talking about opening a winery one day while we were at a Mexican restaurant having lunch at the bar. We bought a ton of his grapes (literally) and this is the result. Its good, damn TOTALLY NAKED Chardonnay Aged in Steel, sans oak influence this Chardonnay is Crisp, fruity, We have cheese plates and other snacks available. You are also welcome to come with your own picnic basket, pizza or have food delivered.
