A Virtual Event is a 1-2 hour experience, where an instructor or host takes a group through an activity via Zoom. The host will demonstrate in a way that participants can follow along at home over video. If supplies are needed, those are posted in the event description so attendees can “arrive” prepared. Hosts can talk to participants over the video or through the chat function, making it a truly interactive experience. Virtual Events are as close to real-life parties or classes as we can get right now, and our customers are loving them!
Once you’re set up on our platform (which takes five minutes!), you can start posting events to our calendar for ticket purchases. We will generate and send you a private link to host the event via Zoom. Anyone buying a ticket will also be sent a private link to attend. When the time comes, simply start the meeting and run your event! It’s that easy.
Ticket revenue is split 70/30—70% to you. You have control over the cost of your tickets. Depending on the activity, most Virtual Events are priced between $10 and $15 (with some exceptions). On average, there are around 20 guests per event, and they typically run between 1.5-2 hours.
The first 60 days on the platform are completely free. After that, there is a $35 monthly fee to support the ticketing and hosting technology. You only need to sell about three tickets a month to cover this fee, and most events range from 20-100 attendees. There is no contract or long-term commitment. You can cancel at any time.
There is really no limit to what can work as a Virtual Event. Our current hosts have been extremely creative with their ideas. Some ideas are below – these are just thought-starters – we encourage creativity!
Your events will be posted to our online ticketing platform for all to see, as well as our social media and email marketing channels. Additionally, we will provide you with professional marketing materials for your own social channels, and anywhere else you’d like to share.
We’ve found that word of mouth is one of the best tools, so make a lasting impact on your virtual guests, and the news will spread!
Sign up is fast. Simply create an account, start your subscription (which is $35 per month), and complete your online profile so that our guests can get to know you. Once you’ve done the above, you can start creating events! Just remember to submit your banking information so we can pay you (instructions will arrive via email).
