Melissa Kellerman is a multidisciplinary artist based in Portland, OR. Originally from Sarasota, FL Melissa had the unique opportunity to join the circus as a youth. Receiving her BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, Melissa is also a trained painter. She enjoys exploring the subtleties of muted colors in her work and utilizes personal symbology derived from her emotional life, ideas about history, and from her experiences as a circus performer. While Melissa’s artwork is often very serious she also simply enjoys making beautiful paintings and playing with paint at Paint Nite!
